KATE WALKER

Kate Walker received a BA in English Literature from Victoria University, a Diploma in Visual Arts from Nelson Polytechnic, and an MFA in Painting from University of Arizona. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States and New Zealand. Recent one person exhibitions include Intersexions at Surels Place in Boise, ID in 2015 and Manual of Arms at the Tollbooth Gallery in Tacoma, WA in 2014. Her work has been reviewed in The Nelson Mail, Art Habens, and On The Issues. Public collections include the Australian National University, the Murano Print Center in Venice, Italy, and University of Colorado Special Collection. She is the recipient of the 2016 Alexa Rose Foundation Grant and the Mildred Lane's Residency in 2014. The artist lives and works in Boise, ID.
