TED ROSS

Ted Ross is a Furniture Designer and Maker based in Michigan. In 2011 Ross became an Assistant Professor of Furniture Design at Northern Michigan University where he continues to teach.  He received a BFA from Murray State University and an MFA from the Herron School of Art and Design.

Ted's work was included in Humor of Craft, a traveling exhibition with full-color catalogue. Humor of Craft was curated by artist and author Brigitte Martin and organized by the Society for Contemporary Craft, Pittsburgh. Ted's work was also selected for an exhibition by the Collectors of Wood Art at SOFA Chicago. The Greater Denton Arts Council selected Ted's work for the 28th annual Materials: Hard & Soft National Contemporary Craft Competition and Exhibition.

Ted lives in Marquette, Michigan with his wife Laura, dog Emily, and a very vocal canary named Bird.
